Dr. Digvir S. Jayas, University of Lethbridge

A highly decorated researcher and trusted collaborator with the farming community, Dr. Jayas specializes in grain storage systems and energy-efficient drying systems. In 2025, he was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his work in grain storage. He will present on “Ambient Air Drying of Cereals and Oilseeds”


Dr. Chandra B. Singh, Lethbridge Polytechnic as the RDAR Research Chair in Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Director of the Advanced Postharvest Technology Centre (APHTC)

Dr. Singh leads innovative research to reduce postharvest waste and quality loss. His work integrates automation, AI, hyperspectral imaging, and advanced sensing systems. He will present on “High Temperature Grain Drying – Dos and Don’ts”
