2022 Regional Corn Rootworm Trap Network

Key links for the 2022 Corn Rootworm Trap Network:

The 2022 CRW Trapping Instructions are available here, though the trapping methods are similar to last year in that trap sites are to be monitored weekly (in regular 7 day intervals) for 6 to 8 weeks. 4 traps are setup each week at each trap site.

For Desktop Browsers: https://arcg.is/qnumW This site contains multiple tabs for Instructions, Trap Data Entry, Maps and Dashboards. We no longer use the Survey123 Field app like we used in 2021 so you can remove that app and link from your browsers and phones.

This link will take you to a web-based application, similar to how the Great Lakes and Maritimes Pest Monitoring Network is set up. It will work on your mobile or desktop browser. Enter trap sites and weekly data under the “Trap Data Entry” tab. Step by step instructions on how to add trap sites and enter weekly data can be found on the “Instructions” tab on the CRW Trap Network site. Interactive, near real-time maps and dashboard also on this site and will update with 2022 trap data once data starts coming into the system.

For Phones/Mobile Devices: Use this link once you are familiar with how to enter trap sites, field information and weekly trap counts (see Instructions Tab on Browser link above). This link takes you directly to the Trap Data Entry page to enter data from the field: CRW Trap Network – Trap Data Entry Site for Phones

A big thanks to Dan Bihari, Senior Geographic Information Specialist, OMAFRA for modifying and managing the CRW Trap Network again this year.
