Welcome to the second series in the Crop Chats brand under FieldCropNews.
This series explores the seeding equipment including planters, drills, airseeders and others that this group of farmers are using on their farms. With farm equipment being so expensive these days, the goal of the series is to share with others the thought process that these farmers have gone through to make the best choices in seeding equipment for their farms. Some have chosen new equipment, others have chosen to rebuild current seeders, and others have bought used and refurbished. They will discuss how they have made their decisions, what features were key, and what units they selected.
Enjoy the videos below and feel free to reach out to these farmers and ask them questions or engage them in a discussion on the thought process they use to purchase new equipment and why the have the units described in the videos.
